The Molalla Food Bank is an organization which provides weekly supplies to families in need. As in all towns and cities these days, the number of families that cannot afford to buy enough food has continued to grow. The Molalla Food Bank, along with the Colton Food Bank, is part of our ongoing mission to help out people in our nearby communities.  We help out the community by donating food goods to the Molalla Service Center, located next to the public library off of 5th street.  The UMC Youth have raised and donated money through the Pennies For Jesus program for the Service Center as well.

MSC is an emergency food bank that provides food boxes monthly for at-need recipients in the Molalla River School District Area. Unopened/unexpired box or canned food items can be dropped off or picked up Monday 10am -2pm and Wednesday 10am-2pm weekly.   Excess garden/fruit produce is also greatly appreciated and accepted during these drop-off times.

The Harvest Program , which consists of food donated by the Oregon Food Bank is available on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 11am to 1pm at MSC where recipients can pay $1.25 for an additional box of food for the month.

For further information regarding accepted items or eligibility guidelines for obtaining food boxes, please contact MSC at 503-829-5561.
