The Clarkes Church like to let the men and women of our military know that we are thinking of them and we appreciate the fact that they are far from home, doing their jobs, and risking their lives for our country. At least once a quarter, mostly before holidays, we all bring food and other items to be packaged in 6-10 USPS Priority Boxes and mailed to military members who are related to, or friends of, someone in our church or community. All manner of homemade and packaged food, along with items such as magazines and cards, are packed into the boxes and sent out. We’ve been told that these care packages, along with the reminder that they are in our thoughts, are enjoyed and appreciated.
