September through May, Sunday school takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Sunday School building next door to our church. At this time, we have combined all the children into one group, with several teachers, for their bible study time. Additionally, Sunday school almost always includes time for singing and time for sharing concerns and special prayers. Throughout the Sunday school year there are also special activities which include learning and practicing songs that they will sing for the congregation, preparation for a Christmas play, a monthly birthday celebration for whomever has had a birthday that month, and time for crafts which the children make to pass out to the congregation members for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. We hold a Halloween party (Trunk or Treat) and an Easter egg hunt at the church. We try to make Sunday school a time to learn stories from the bible while also being fun.
